One thing that touches my heart is the tenderness with which I was treated by my friends. You expect to be showered with love and affection by your suitors and siblings, but I was always humbled by the overwhelming kindness I received from my girlfriends.
Jessica likes Fresca and the big yellow sun. She's a pretty little lady and the boys like her buns. An infectious smile is planted on her face. It brightens her friends and the whole human race. I love her more than the whole wide world. She also loves me for me, whether my hair is straight or curled.
To this day, whenever I hear the song, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You," I think of Stacy.
Whenever classes would do that thing where you exchange positive, anonymous notes with each other, I would keep a few of the ones that really struck a chord. What's amazing is that, although these little notes were written to compliment me, I am more impressed by the incredible maturity and eloquence of the young writers of the notes.
A girl in my science class once passed me the old "Do you like me, yes or no?" note. I felt bad having to tell her that I was straight, so no, not that way. At the end of class, she gave me this drawing. I thought it was really nice of her, and I was glad we could still be friends.
Midge is a kind, gentle soul. She always has something supportive to say. I remember she used to wear a scent called "Genuine," and I told Midge that was a perfect label for her.
So, I bet you're excited about tonight, so you can get your sister all pretty for the dance!
Cheltz has had some really good opinions in this open class discussion in English. She talks and I'm just like YEAH! Ka-POW!!
