Maybe it was because life was getting so heavy that my friends and I basically goofed off for like two years straight. It's hard to believe that ANY of us managed to get degrees or hold down jobs with all this nonsense going on.
We lit creepy candelabras and put dry ice in our goblets to make them bubble like potion. We all dressed like zombies and Jeff and Jer played spooky music on the organ as guests came in. After dinner, we played "Murder in the Dark."
We had a "granola day" yesterday. We dressed like granolas and sat in Citrus and Sage and talked about politics.
Nicky came over (she decided she was sick, too) and so we vegged on the couch, watching Backstreet Boys music videos and chatting.
I love to cook and to serve people. (You can't say "I love to cook and serve people" because that sounds like people are the main entree!)
One time, my friend was overnight dog-sitting for an older couple, so of course she invited all of us to hang out with her. We found this pair of glasses and just went to town.
EVERYTHING was an excuse to party back then.
